Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 crepe recipe (see link in description)
  • Strawberry topping (see recipe link in description)
  • Sweetened whipped cream (I use 2 cups unwhipped heavy 35% whipping cream, one cup for filling and the remainder to dollup on top of the rolled crepes
  • CREAM FILLING
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted (can use 1-1/2 cups for sweeter taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream (measure about 1 cup whipped, or more -- or thawed Cool Whip)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped (red, ripe)

How to Make

  • Step 1: For the filling; in a bowl beat cream cheese, confectioners sugar, lemon juice and vanilla until very smooth.

  • Step 2: Fold in 2 cups chopped fresh strawberries and 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip.

  • Step 3: Spoon about 1/3 cup of the cream filling down the center of each crepe, then roll up.

  • Step 4: Drizzle strawberry topping/sauce over the top, then dollup whipped cream over the sauce.
