Step 1: In a saucepan, saute onion in olive oil over medium heat, 3 minutes. Add garlic, saute 1 minute (make sure it doesn't burn!).
Step 2: Add in tomato paste, basil, sugar, oregano and salt; cook 2 minutes. Season with pepper.
Step 3: Add in tomatoes (with juice) bring to boil and simmer uncovered for about 15-20 minutes or until some of the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat; stir in whipping cream and butter. Reduce heat and simmer 5 more minutes. Add more salt if needed.
Step 4: Serve with cooked pasta.
