Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups clam juice (quahog)
  • 3 ounces bacon (3 strips, chopped,could use salt pork)
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onions
  • 1 can (15 ounce) creamed corn (optional)
  • 2 pounds potatoes (peeled, diced into 1/2 inch pieces)
  • 1/2 pound clams (chopped, quahog meat, 1/2 cups)
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fry the bacon in kettle. When the fat is cooked out, remove the pork and save.

  • Step 2: Sauté onions in the pork fat, without browning.

  • Step 3: Add potatoes and juice,corn, and simmer until tender.

  • Step 4: Add the salt, bacon, clam meat, seasonings and heat through.
