Step 1: In a small bowl, combine gelatin and water, set aside.

Step 4: Iin a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
Step 5: Stir in marshmallow cream and pineapple mix.
Step 6: Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 7: Prepare whipped topping according to package directions.
Step 8: Fold whipped topping into pineapple mix.
Step 9: Pour in an ungreased 9x13 inch dish.
Step 10: Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Step 11: Decorate with cherries if desired.
