  • 1 pie crust (9-inch, homemade is best - but store bought is fine)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

How to Make

  • Step 1: If you made your pie crust, roll out thin - about 1/4" thick.

  • Step 2: Cut all ends straight so you have a large rectangle.

  • Step 3: Spread on butter and add a generous helping of cinnamon sugar.

  • Step 4: Roll tightly and make sure the seam is closed.

  • Step 5: Cut the roll into 1/2" slices. If the dough is too soft refrigerate for 30 minutes or so.

  • Step 6: Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400° until lightly golden brown. About 20 minutes or so.

  • Step 7: Let sit for a few minutes and then transfer to a wire rack for cooling.

  • Step 8: Store in an airtight container.
