The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted (can use pecans)
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon strong brewed coffee, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt (about 1/8 teaspoon)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make

  • Step 1: Line an 8-in. square pan with foil and butter the foil; set aside.

  • Step 2: In a 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, condensed milk, coffee, cinnamon and salt.

  • Step 3: Microwave uncovered on high for 1 minute.

  • Step 4: Stir until smooth, then stir in vanilla and nuts.

  • Step 5: Immediately spread into the prepared pan.

  • Step 6: Cover and refrigerate until firm (about 2 hours).

  • Step 7: Remove from pan; cut into 1-in. squares.

  • Step 8: Cover and store at room temperature.
