  • 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, to taste
  • Cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 3 large eggs (lightly beaten with 1/3 cup water)
  • 2 cups dry breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil
  • 4 ounces Swiss cheese, sliced (4 slices)
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced thinly
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 8 ounces bacon strips (8 strips, cooked)
  • 6 ounces bread buns (4 large burger buns)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the flour with the next 5 dry spices in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Place the egg and water mixture into a second bowl, and the bread crumbs into a third. Roll chicken breasts with seasoned flour and dip in egg mix, shaking off excess coating. Then last, coat chicken breasts with crumbs, pressing crumbs deep into meat.

  • Step 3: Heat oil in frying pan on medium-high, and cook breast for 4 minutes on each side. Serve on buns with swiss, lettuce, bacon and onion slices.
