  • 1 pound stewing beef (cut in cubes)
  • 2 pounds green strings beans (trimmed and cut in 2 in. pieces)
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 can (32 ounce) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 whole lemon (juice of)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place beef, green beans, onion and tomatoes in slow cooker. Stir in spices.

  • Step 2: Cook on High heat for 4 hours or Low heat for 8 hours.
