The ingredients are:
  • 1 yellow onion, finely chopped (about 2 cups)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 ounces frozen green beans (cut, thawed, 2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • Worcestershire sauce (2 dashes)
  • 8 ounces frozen corn (1 3/4 cups frozen, thawed)
  • 2 cans (10 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 bag (16 ounces) tater tots (frozen)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add the onions and beef and cook until browned. Season with pepper. Drain.

  • Step 2: Transfer the beef and onion mixture from the skillet into a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.

  • Step 3: Scatter the green beans,peas and corn evenly on top.

  • Step 4: Spread the cream of mushroom soup over top, add Worcestershire, then top with tater tots.

  • Step 5: Bake uncovered for 1 hour; check at 30 minute mark. Add cheese last 5 minutes (the potato nuggets should be golden brown).
