Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 large head broccoli (about 8 cups) cut into medium florets
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise (do not use salad dressing)
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Set oven to 350 degrees F, then grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

  • Step 2: Steam the florets until just fork tender (do not cook until very soft as they will cook more in the oven) allow to drain well on paper towels.

  • Step 3: In a bowl combine the mayonnaise with sour cream, melted butter, garlic powder, seasoned salt and black pepper; whisk/mix until smooth and well combined.

  • Step 4: Mix in both onions and shredded cheese, then mix in the broccoli florets.

  • Step 5: Transfer to baking dish, then sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese.

  • Step 6: Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly
