  • 1 pound sauerkraut (1 bag, refrigerated)
  • 1 large potato (Idaho potato, peeled and sliced)
  • 1 pound smoked pork loin chops (3 chops)
  • 1 pound knockwurst sausages (2 sausages)
  • 1 pound kielbasa (1 link, Polish)
  • Salt and pepper (1/2 tsp of each)
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 can (12 ounce) beer (amber bock beer)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Salt and pepper sliced potatoes and chops.

  • Step 2: Place in layers in the slow cooker pot: sauerkraut, potatoes, sauerkraut, pork chops, sauerkraut, knockwurst, sauerkraut, kielbasa.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle with caraway.

  • Step 4: Pour the beer over all.

  • Step 5: Cook on low for 8 hours.

  • Step 6: Serve with mustard, bread and butter.
