Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cups dry lima beans ( they said white kidneys ,picture was of lima beans, soaked overnight)
  • 6 cups stock (meat stock)
  • 1 large potato, chopped
  • 6 ounces bacon (6 slices)
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk of celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley root, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley ,chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute bacon. Add onions, rest veggies saute lightly.

  • Step 2: Add stock, drained beans and herbs (except dill). Cook until beans are soft.

  • Step 3: Last 5 minutes of cooking, add dill.
