  • Chamomile flowers (dried, 1/2 cup)
  • Lemon verbena leaves (dried, 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/3 cup honey (raw)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large pot bring 6 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Remove pot from heat and stir in the chamomile and lemon verbena. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, place a large strainer lined with cheesecloth or a damp paper towel over another pot or heat-proof bowl. Strain tea, pressing on the herbs to extract all liquid. Stir in honey until it dissolves, and let the tea cool completely, about 1 hour. Fill four tall glasses with ice. Pour tea over ice and serve immediately.
