  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (can use more)
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, then grease a large baking/cookie sheet.

  • Step 2: In a bowl cream butter with both sugars until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla until combined.

  • Step 3: In another bowl combine the flour with oats, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg; stir into creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin puree, then fold in nuts and chocolate chips.

  • Step 4: Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.

  • Step 5: Bake for 12-13 minutes or until lightly browned, then remove to wire racks to cool.
