Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 24 ounces beef sirloin steaks (three 8-ounces steaks, thin sliced quality cuts)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 small yellow onion, minced
  • 12 ounces Roma tomatoes (3 tomatoes, chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 can (4 ounce) whole green chile peppers (not the chopped ones)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Seasoning salt to taste
  • 3 ounces Monterey Jack cheese slices (3 slices Monterey Jack pepper cheese)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat olive oil in pan. Add in onion, garlic and tomato. Saute for 3 minutes or until tender. Set mixture aside.

  • Step 2: Get grill ready to cook.

  • Step 3: Cut green chile into long strips and set aside.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle seasoning salt on both sides of steak. Place steaks on grill over medium-hot to hot flames. Grill steaks about five minutes for the first side. Flip steaks then place mixture of tomato, onion and garlic evenly on broiled side of steaks. Top with 2-3 strips of green chile.

  • Step 5: Place a slice of cheese on top of each steak where you cover the tomato/onion mixture and green chile strips with the cheese.

  • Step 6: Grill until steak is done and cheese is melted, about 4 minutes.
