Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (plain, 140g)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (25g)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 200 ml milk ,(3/4 cup)
  • TOPPING
  • 4 teaspoons powdered sugar (caster, superfine)
  • Cinnamon, dash

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat a pan to 190 degrees celsius 375 f.

  • Step 2: Mix dry ingredients, then add milk to ingredients gradually until thick batter.

  • Step 3: When oil is hot in pan, take dessert spoonful of mixture and place in oil. Fry until golden brown (4-5 minutes). They kinda stuck to the bottom of my deep fryer basket .just loosen them and flip over.

  • Step 4: Drain on kitchen paper and toss in caster sugar ( I mix cinnamon into my sugar). Honey is also good with these
