Step 1: In a large saucepan, saute celery and onions in butter.
Step 2: Add cream cheese cubes, half & half and chicken stock. Stir over low heat until cream cheese in completely melted. (You may need to use a wire whisk)
Step 3: Add potatoes, shrimp, white wine (or white grape juice w/white wine vinegar), salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally (don't let it boil). Stir in crumbled bacon bits.
Step 4: Ladle out in bowls and snip some of the fresh dill on top for garnish.
