Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 (1 pound) beef rouladen
  • 504 grams refired beans (2 cups)
  • 1 1/2 cups salsa (hot, medium or mild)
  • 2 cups grated Montery Jack cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 avocado (peeled pitted and sliced)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Roll open the rouladens and put 1/2 cup of refried beans on each along with 3 tablespoons of cheese

  • Step 2: Roll the rouladen, fasten with a tooth pick and place them side by side in an oven proof dish

  • Step 3: Pour the salsa over them,

  • Step 4: Cover with foil and bake in a 375f oven for 45 minutes

  • Step 5: Remove foil, add remaining cheese, return to oven uncovered and continue baking for 15 minutes or until the cheese has nicely melted and is golden

  • Step 6: Serve with sour cream and sliced avocados on top. You may want a bit of extra salsa too.
