Step 1: Saute the onion in olive oil until golden.
Step 2: Add tomato and garlic; cook.
Step 3: Add turmeric, ground cumin, salt and pepper.
Step 4: Add parsley, cilantro, 1 cup water and beans. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring so it doesn't burn.
Step 5: Add lemon juice and lemon zest as you take the dish off the stove.
