Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup half and half (OR 18% table cream - OR 1/2 cup whipping cream & milk)
  • 1 box (3.4 ounce) instant vanilla pudding mix (or cream cheese flavor)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (very soft)
  • 1 carton (12 ounce) Cool Whip Frozen Topping (thawed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl using a hand mixer on low speed combine the milk or cream with instant vanilla pudding until thickened; set aside.

  • Step 2: In another bowl, on low speed beat the cream cheese with the Cool Whip. Whisk in the milk/pudding mix until smooth and well combined.

  • Step 3: Refrigerate while cake cools.

  • Step 4: Ice the cooled cake, and enjoy this lovely light icing.
