Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 large eggs (combined with 2 tablespoons of milk)
  • 1 cup shredded old cheddar cheese (the cheese needs to be fine grated use the small holes of your grater)
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (dry Italian seasoned)
  • 2 cup crispy rice cereal (just slightly crushed with you hands, Rice Krispies cereal)
  • 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (6 breasts)
  • Parmesan cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the sides of a 9x13inch pan with cooking spray, then pour and spread 1/3 cup melted butter in the bottom of the pan.

  • Step 2: In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.

  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, beat together the egg and milk.

  • Step 4: In a third bowl, mix the shredded cheese, bread crumbs, cereal.

  • Step 5: FIRST: dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture.

  • Step 6: SECOND: dip in the egg mixture.

  • Step 7: THIRDLY: press in the breadcrumb mixture to coat.

  • Step 8: Arrange in the prepared baking dish.

  • Step 9: Top the chicken with a small bit of Parmesan cheese.

  • Step 10: Bake 40-45 minutes or until coating is golden brown and chicken juices run clear, I used bone-in skin-on thighs they were done in 45 minutes.
