Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds spaghetti pasta (angel hair works here ,cooked and drained, before preparing, break noodles into two-inch pieces)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (small curd)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh chives (don’t try the dried ones, you will be disappointed)
  • 1 tablespoons butter (cut into small pieces)
  • Paprika (a sprinkle on top for color)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Set oven at 350˚ and place over rack in middle position.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl combine the cooked drained noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream, salt,pepper, and chives.

  • Step 3: Mix well and pour into a buttered 2 qt. (the one we use says 8×12) casserole dish.

  • Step 4: Dot the top with the butter cut into small pieces.

  • Step 5: Bake 30 minutes, the noodle will just begin to brown.

  • Step 6: This dish refrigerates well so you can make it one day and cook the next, just be sure to cover tightly with plastic wrap.
