Step 1: In a large bowl mix cilantro, honey, hoisin sauce, ginger, chilies, and brown sugar in the bowl. Stir well to blend well.
Step 2: Preheat the broiler. Brush the salmon steaks with oil.
Step 3: Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Brush with some of the honey-ginger glaze. Broil salmon until opaque in center.
Step 4: Baste occasionally using the remaining glaze. It will take at least 4 minutes on each side.
Step 5: Once done, transfer the salmon steaks to plates. Serve.
