  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 pound peaches (2 peaches, pitted and chopped but not peeled, about 1 1/2 cups)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F

  • Step 2: Beat egg in a large mixing bowl.

  • Step 3: Stir in milk, butter, sugar, salt, cinnamon, lemon juice and vanilla.

  • Step 4: Sift flour and baking powder together.

  • Step 5: Stir flour mixture into egg mixture, mixing only until just blended.

  • Step 6: Gently fold in the peaches.
