Step 1: Heat sour cream to lukewarm and cool some.
Step 2: Mix yeast and warm water to proof.
Step 3: Add to the yeast--the sour cream, soft butter, sugar, salt, egg, and one cup of flour--beat till smooth; gradually adding the other two cups of flour and mix well.
Step 4: Rise till doubled and then place on floured board and roll into a 6"x24" rectangle; brush with saved soft butter.
Step 5: Mix the filling together and spread over half the rectangle.
Step 6: Fold the other half over the filling lengthwise; cut into 24-1" strips.
Step 7: Twist and place on greased baking sheet; rise till doubled.
Step 8: Bake 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes, but don't overbake; cool and drizzle glaze over them.
