Step 1: Cream butter well
Step 2: Add half of the granulated sugar and all of the brown sugar;
Step 3: Mix well.
Step 4: Add whiskey, rum and vanilla.
Step 5: Add egg yolks, then flour; mix.
Step 6: Beat egg whites with remaining sugar until soft peaks form.
Step 7: With a wooden spoon, blend beaten whites into dough.
Step 8: Roll into 1-inch balls.
Step 9: Place on pizzelle iron.
Step 10: Bake until done.
Step 11: Mix filling then pipe into rolled cookies.
