Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound beef kielbasa
  • 4 medium red potatoes
  • 4 medium yams (optional)
  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons celery seeds
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine

How to Make

  • Step 1: Spray a 13x9 inch baking pan with non stick cooking spray.

  • Step 2: Pour carrots into bottom of pan.

  • Step 3: Peel and quarter potatoes and add to carrots.

  • Step 4: Cut cabbage into wedges about 2 inches thick.

  • Step 5: Lay in pan with carrots and potatoes.

  • Step 6: Add water, seasonings, and butter.

  • Step 7: Cover and bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until vegetables are almost tender.

  • Step 8: Lay kielbasa on top of vegetables.

  • Step 9: Cover and bake 15 more minutes or till sausage is heated through.

  • Step 10: Serve with French bread or garlic bread.

  • Step 11: Crock pot time is not included in the cooking time.
