  • 16 ounces frozen green beans
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 4 ounces Velveeta, cubed
  • TOPPING
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons butter, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: In Dutch oven, saute onion in butter until tender.

  • Step 2: Remove from the heat; whisk in the cornstarch , paprika, Worcestershire sauce and mustard until blended.

  • Step 3: Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Remove from the heat; stir in cheese and thawed beans. Place in greased baking dish. Top with crumbs.

  • Step 4: Bake 30 minutes until bubbly at 375 degrees.

  • Step 5: Drain beans; gently fold into cheese sauce.
