Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (round steak)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 8 olives (green stuffed olives, chopped)
  • 2.2 ounces cheddar cheese (1/2 cup, pretty fine)
  • 3 green onions, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 green (6 ounce) bell pepper, chopped fine

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place ground meat in large bowl; add salt and pepper. Mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix.

  • Step 2: Form into four large patties.

  • Step 3: Heat heavy iron skillet.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle small amount of salt in pan and sear patties for three to four minutes on one side.

  • Step 5: Flatten each before turning.

  • Step 6: Brown other side for another five/six minutes.
