Step 1: Combine the two flours, cornmeal, oats, salt, and sugar in a bowl, mixing with your hands.
Step 2: Melt the crisco and lard in a saucepan and add to the dry ingredients above; mix well.
Step 3: Add enough water to make a stiff dough.
Step 4: Divide into smaller portions and store them in the freezer in separate plastic bags.
Step 5: When needed, take one out and thaw it out and then press into the holes of your log feeder.
