Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk all ingredients (except the pecan halves) together until well combined.
Step 3: Pour filling into unbaked pie shell
Step 4: Top with optional pecan halves, if using and bake for 50 minutes or until the center is set.
Step 5: Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
Step 6: Cut into 12 slices.
