Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2: Beat honey and sugar until mixture turns light.
Step 3: Sift together flours, baking soda, spices and salt.
Step 4: Mix into honey mixture alternately with milk, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
Step 5: Stir in marmalade and mix well.
Step 6: Pour batter into a large loaf pan.
Step 7: Bake for about 1 1/4 hours, or until a cake tester comes out clean.
Step 8: If the top browns too quickly, cover with foil.
Step 9: Cool wrapped in a towel.
