Step 1: Place spareribs in a baking pan with a cover or use foil to cover
Step 2: Split 6 cloves of garlic in half and scatter over the ribs, cover pan and bake the ribs in a 350f oven for 1 hour
Step 3: While the ribs are baking in a saucepan saute the the onions and crushed garlic in the butter until the onions are translucent
Step 4: Add remining ingredients to the saucepan, simmer for 5 minutes
Step 5: After the ribs have baked dry for 1 hour, drain the pan of any fat and pour the sauce over the ribs, cover and return to the oven for up to 2 hours oven temperature 350f
Step 6: Check the ribs every 15 minutes, baste and check for tenderness,uncover for the last 30 minutes Depending on the amount of meat on the ribs they may not take the full 2 hours. When they are fall off the bone tender they are done
