Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds apples (5 pink lady, peeled, cored, sliced thinly)
  • 10 ounces mulberries (2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • Salt (dash)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground clove
  • 2 pie crusts

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the sugar, flour, corn starch, spices and salt together.

  • Step 2: Mix fruit together, then pour on sugar mixture; toss.

  • Step 3: Put mixture into bottom pie shell. Dot with butter.

  • Step 4: Put on top crust. Crimp

  • Step 5: Put in a preheated 425 degree oven.

  • Step 6: Bake on bottom rack of oven for 20 minutes.

  • Step 7: Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake until juices have been bubbling for at least 5 minutes, about 40 minutes longer.
