  • 3 cups pureed apricot (from fully ripe apricot flesh, skin and stones removed)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place apricot puree and sugar,cinnamon in sauce pan and cook over medium heat until the fruit is translucent and has a jam-like texture, about 20 minutes.

  • Step 2: Place in the fridge overnight.

  • Step 3: Remove from fridge, then beat in milk cream and vanilla.

  • Step 4: Place in an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines to make ice cream.
