Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds deer (meat cut in chunks)
  • 3 stalks (6 ounces) celery (chopped fine)
  • 2 tablespoons beef suet
  • 3 whole (24 ounces) yellow onions (chopped fine)
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 whole (12 ounces) potatoes (1/2" pieces)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 whole (18 ounces) tomatoes (chopped fine)
  • 6 whole (18 ounces) carrots (chopped fine)
  • 6 cups water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut meat in inch chunks,

  • Step 2: In large stock pot or slow cooker, brown suet, sweat the meat and onions, celery and carrots.

  • Step 3: Add rest of ingredients, cover with water.

  • Step 4: Cook until meat is tender. may need more water
