Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 30 grams pine nuts (toasted)
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (light)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes (drained and chopped finely)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put the pine nuts, parmesan cheese, basil, garlic, sugar, herbs and salt in a food processor and blend. Gradually add the oil and water until mixed to a thick paste. (I don't make mine too smooth we like it coarser).

  • Step 2: Fold the chopped sundried tomatoes into the mixture and mix well, or put the tomatoes into the processor with the other ingredients and give a quick whizz.

  • Step 3: Store in fridge and use or serve when needed.
