Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons duck fat (use butter, you are NEVER going to find duck fat lol or chicken fat)
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 head (2 pounds) cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute onion in fat of your choice. Add cabbage; saute until wilted. Add caraway, water, vinegar, salt and sugar.

  • Step 2: Simmer 1 hour.
