Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • STEAKS
  • 2 (2 pounds) beef ribeye steaks (1" thick)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (country-style)
  • 1 tablespoon tarragon (parsley, or chives, fresh, chopped)
  • MUSHROOM GNOCCHI
  • 1 package (16 ounce) gnocchi (such as Gia Russa)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms (button, quartered)
  • 4 ounces fresh mushrooms (gourmet mushrooms, trimmed)
  • 3 tablespoons sliced shallots
  • 4 garlic cloves (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup flat leaf parsley leaves (loosely packed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

How to Make

  • STEAKS

  • Step 1: Preheat grill to medium high heat (350 to 400 degrees).

  • Step 2: Rub steaks with salt and pepper and let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, stir together the butter, mustard and herb.

  • Step 4: Grill steaks, covered with grill lit 5-8 minutes on each side, depending on desired doneness. Remove from the grill, top with herbed butter. Serve with mushroom gnocchi.

  • MUSHROOM GNOCCHI

  • Step 5: Prepare the gnocchi according to the package directions.

  • Step 6: Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the button mushrooms and the gourmet mushrooms; saute 3 minutes or until lightly browned and the liquid has released and evaporated.

  • Step 7: Add the shallots and garlic; saute 2 minutes or until the shallots are tender. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and cook 2 minutes more or until lightly browned.

  • Step 8: Add gnocchi. Toss gently. Stir in parlsey, salt and pepper. Enjoy.
