How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat sandwich press.

  • Step 2: Cut Turkish loaf in 4 even pieces and slit each through the centre to make 8 slices in total.

  • Step 3: Spread bases with pickles and top with the ham and cheese and finish with the remaining slice bread.

  • Step 4: Spray the outside of each sandwich, on both sides with the olive oil spray.

  • Step 5: Transfer to sandwich press and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden and crisp and cut each sandwich is half and serve.

  • Step 6: If you don't have a sandwich press, the sandwiches can easily be toasted under a hot grill or in a frying pan but will take about 20 minutes as you will have to toast each side where as the sandwich press toasts both sides at the same time.
