Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (frozen, pre-rolled, 1/2 of a 450g package), thawed
  • 4 slices bacon (crisp cooked, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (Kraft old cheddar shredded cheese)
  • 1 large egg (beaten)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Pre-Heat oven to 400f.

  • Step 2: Unroll pastry on a lightly floured cutting board. Sprinkle with the bacon and cheese to within 1/4 inch of one short side.

  • Step 3: Roll up, jelly roll style, starting at the opposite short side. Place on parchment covered baking sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes or until firm.

  • Step 4: Cut into 1 inch pieces.

  • Step 5: Place cut side up on parchment covered baking sheet. Brush with egg.

  • Step 6: Bake until golden apprx 17-20 minutes.

  • Step 7: Cool 1 minute, then place on wire rack, cool completly.
