Step 1: In a 12 inch skillet, heat the oil, add the ground beef and cook on medium high heat until the meat has browned.
Step 2: Add the onion, garlic and crushed red pepper to the browned meat. Add salt and pepper. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes, until the onions are tender.
Step 3: Add the tomato sauce and Italian seasoning.
Step 4: Pour in the broth and half and half. Bring to a boil.
Step 5: Add the dry pasta, cook, at a simmer, for about 10 minutes, uncovered until the pasta has cooked through. At this point, check the consistency of the pasta. You might want to add more liquid
Step 6: Remove from heat, add the shredded cheese and stir to combine until melted.
Step 7: Serve with more cheese, and green onions, chopped
