Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups cranberry juice
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • Cinnamon sticks (2 inches)
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) white wine (zinfandel wine)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large saucepan, combine cranberry juice, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks & cloves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat & simmer uncovered for 5 min. Remove spices.

  • Step 2: Add white zinfandel & heat until just warm.

  • Step 3: Ladle into mugs or transfer to a warm, heatproof pitcher & pour into mugs.

  • NOTE: If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, sub 3 1/4 cups white grape juice for the white zinfandel & omit the brown sugar
