  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 lemon, whole (small lemon)
  • 1 yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke (liquid barbecue smoke)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • Step 1: Simmer all but ketchup, liquid smoke, and Worcestershire sauce for 20 minutes.
