Step 1: In a large saucepan, combine milk, sugar and vanilla and place over medium heat.
Step 2: Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved. Once the sugar has dissolved, add the baking soda and stir to combine.
Step 3: Place milk in small mason jars. Seal. Place jars in your crock pot and cover with water by 2 inches.
Step 4: Cook for 8 hours. Let them sit over night and cook for another 8 hours the next day.
Step 5: Done.
