Step 1: Start heating up the frying pan with oil in it on medium heat.
Step 2: Season the pork chops with garlic powder and salt and pepper.
Step 3: Dredge the pork chops lightly in the flour.
Step 4: When the frying pan is hot, lay the pork chops in the hot oil and fry on both sides until browned.
Step 5: Add 1/2 cup water and place a lid on the pan cooking for 5 more minutes to loosen the bits on the bottom of the pan.
Step 6: You can use this for making gravy or simply pour the liquid over the chops.
