  • 4 (1 pound) fresh pork chops
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Oil for frying

How to Make

  • Step 1: Start heating up the frying pan with oil in it on medium heat.

  • Step 2: Season the pork chops with garlic powder and salt and pepper.

  • Step 3: Dredge the pork chops lightly in the flour.

  • Step 4: When the frying pan is hot, lay the pork chops in the hot oil and fry on both sides until browned.

  • Step 5: Add 1/2 cup water and place a lid on the pan cooking for 5 more minutes to loosen the bits on the bottom of the pan.

  • Step 6: You can use this for making gravy or simply pour the liquid over the chops.
