Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 medium (1 pound) potatoes (peeled,rinsed,and cut into 1/2 inch cubes)
  • 1 cup water, divided
  • 3/4 pound bratwurst (fully cooked brats, I used cheddar brats, cut into 1/2 inch slices)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oil (vegetable oil)
  • 5 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen green beans
  • 1/3 cup chopped sweet onion
  • 2 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese (I added extra cheese to my serving)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl combine soup,1/2 cup water,garlic powder,and pepper and set aside.

  • Step 2: Place potatoes and 1/2 cup of water in a deep skillet over medium low to medium heat and cover with lid;cook potatoes until almost tender,about 15 minutes.

  • Step 3: Drain and set aside,in the same skillet add oil,diced bratwurst, and onions.

  • Step 4: Cook until brats or lightly browned and onion is softened.

  • Step 5: Return potatoes to pan,add soup mixture and green beans(or peas),mix well.

  • Step 6: Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

  • Step 7: Stir in cheese until melted (Top with extra cheese if desired).
