Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 unbaked (9 inch) pie shell
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion (minced)
  • 4 sausage links, (brown & serve, sliced 1/2-inch thick)
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli (thawed and drained)
  • 1/2 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of broccoli soup

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 450F.

  • Step 2: Line the unbaked pie shell with a double thickness of foil. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove foil.

  • Step 3: Bake until golden (4-6 minutes more). Set aside.

  • Step 4: Reduce oven temperature to 375F.

  • Step 5: Cook the sausage and mushrooms in a large skillet until the sausage is brown (about 5 minutes).

  • Step 6: Stir the eggs, condensed soup, onion and pepper together in a medium bowl.

  • Step 7: Stir in the sausage mixture, broccoli, and 3/4 of the cheese.

  • Step 8: Pour the mixture into the pie shell. Bake until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean (40-45 minutes).

  • Step 9: Sprinkle the remaining cheese over.

  • Step 10: Let stand for 10 minutes. Serve.
