  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup 7-Up soda

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a bundt pan.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  • Step 3: Beat in lemon juice and vanilla. Add flour alternately with 7UP, beating well.

  • Step 4: Batter will be thick, spoon into the bundt pan and bake until a toothpick comes out clean. 65-75 minutes.

  • Step 5: Let cake cool for 20 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
