  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips (or 6 oz bar chocolate, chopped)

We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • FOR THE SOUP

  • Step 1: In a saucepan over med-heat, stir together the milk, half-&-half, sweetened condensed milk & vanilla extract. Bring the mixture to a bubble.

  • Step 2: Reduce heat to low & add the chocolate.

  • Step 3: Let stand for 1 min, then whisk until the chocolate starts to melt.

  • Step 4: Combine the cornstarch & water w/a fork or small whisk.

  • Step 5: Add this mixture a little at a time, whisking constantly until the soup is thick & smooth. You'll know it's ready when the bubbles are gone & the chocolate has thickened; this takes about 5-7 min.

  • Step 6: Carefully pour into 2 bowls & garnish.

  • FOR THE TOPPING

  • Step 7: Microwave the cream cheese at 10-second intervals or until it can be stirred smooth. Add marshmallow creme to the cream cheese & mix well.

  • Step 8: Dollop on top of soup (or transfer mixture to a pastry bag & pipe design).
